Declarations of [inter]dependence and the im[media]cy of design

Declarations comprised week-long workshops, an exhibition, and a three-day symposium. The event brought together over 30 designers, artists, educators and activists exploring the public sphere as a space of democratic voice and citizenship with an emphasis on graphic agitation, manifestoes, design discourse, and alternative modes of public address. Speakers included: Russel Bestley, Tony Credland, Amy Franceshini, Mike Gerritzen, Noami Klein, Ian Noble, Matt Soar, Teal Triggs, Jan van Toorn, and Patricia Zimmerman.
